On Saturday 6 December, and Sunday 7 December, the Hottentots Holland Section of the MCSA will be celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the opening of the Johnson Hut, on 16 December 1964. This will be a special occasion for us all, and we would like to invite you and your family to join us on this weekend.
We are planning to have a braai on the Saturday evening. The theme will be a Bavarian Alpine theme. So we will supply some German Sausages, and Pretzel bread. But no doubt it will not be enough for everyone, or for a late night. So please bring more food and drinks, and put on some Bavarian Alpine clothes, if you feel like it.
We, as the committee, have decided that this will once again, reminds us all of our dear friend Ulli Deutschlander and his positive attitude towards life and the beautiful mountains.
Day walks will be on the cards, for the Saturday, as well as the Sunday. Anyone will be welcome to sleep over in the hut (limited space) , or outside under the stars, or in your own tent. We will provide fresh water, and a beautiful pool for swimming in the Landroskloof river.
On the Saturday afternoon, around 16h00, we will have the yearly AGM of the HH Section. This will not be a very long meeting, and after this the braai will commence.
Please send a email to firstname.lastname@example.org if you would possible like to attend our function. Short notice would also be very welcome, as long as you understand what to expect at the hut.
We hope to see many of you on that weekend,
Hottentots Holland SectionMCSA
